Welcome to the wiki.
I'm having a little trouble understanding what you meant here. (I've marked the section title "[sic]" because the correct spelling is Da Doo Ron Ron.)
Were both of the versions in question created officially by The Crystals, or is one a cover made by some other band? Eighty5cacao 16:14, 20 November 2011 (MST) (proofread 06:52, 13 August 2013 (UTC))
I actually deleted that part for these reasons: it is almost the same song, and they are variant with the name change in the lyrics (His Name is Jill vs. His name is Bill) and one is by a different author.
The Crystals did not do it first as I thought, The first one is from Shaun Cassidy
The original: Shawn Cassidy - Da Doo Run Run (1977) The variant: The Crystals - Da Doo Run Run (1986)
And I do not know if it is official, may look it up!
