Jaleco[edit]

I see the TV Tropes history page you're referring to, but I can't seem to pull out the last version with only my contributions. All I can find are diffs, and the "click to see context" button shows line numbers in the current revision, not the version corresponding to the diff. One would need to start over from Wikipedia (company, games) or other reliable sources like I did. --Tepples (talk) 14:10, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

Perhaps I didn't make this clear enough: The "second and third" revisions (i.e., what I remember to be the very next two after the "oldest" which we are discussing, but are now the oldest two available in the history) appear to be minor fixes by you. Do you have reasonable suspicion as to whether or not there was an intermediate edit by another user before that point? Or is it a problem merely that proof of such is now impossible? --Eighty5cacao (talk) 18:57, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
Never mind, I forgot that tvtropes!pmwiki doesn't have oldids like the MediaWiki software does. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 19:14, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
In theory, I could start from the latest revision and apply all revisions in the article history in reverse. But that'll have to wait until Orain recovers from an outage. --Tepples (talk) 22:25, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

Recent Changes Cleanup policy[edit]

It looks like you unhid this edit on RCC, given that the corresponding "hide" link is in my browser's history but the edit isn't hidden now. Could you explain why?

I guess you read the edit summary without paying enough attention to the edit itself. To paraphrase, the most relevant page on this wiki is User:Eighty5cacao/misc/WMG dump/archive, which is the non-preferred topic that led to my RCC use in the first place, and the trope isn't even linked there yet. Did you perhaps mean to create a Trope Workshop or userspace draft for a page I mentioned? Or did you mean to argue that some part of my WMG about Magibon is within project scope?

To clarify, when I said "rethink," I meant to favor a more aggressive use of RCC. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 04:34, 30 August 2014 (UTC)

Actually it was a bit of an accident, and I just never got around to hiding it again. But yes, I do plan to take "Box and Stick Trap" to Trope Workshop later. --Tepples (talk) 15:06, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
