Talk:Wrecking Ball Boy

Could you clarify what you mean by "abused," and specifically, is any sexual innuendo intended here? Eighty5cacao 22:23, 23 August 2012 (MST)

No sex. It's just that I plan to have the game explain the use of the tool for pulling boxes around, just not the use of the tool for swinging oneself around. That's something the player is expected to have figured out by the time it is needed, just as the manual for Super Mario Bros. doesn't explain how to enter pipes despite it being necessary for completing WORLD 8-4. --Tepples 06:15, 24 August 2012 (MST)

"How to play" page[edit] ought to be made protocol-relative; it's the same issue that came up with the Cookie Clicker page. I know you're not officially supporting https for this, but see the rule mentioned at User talk:Tepples#HTTPS on this site: further follow-up. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 18:03, 21 July 2014 (UTC)

The same file is included in the distribution, and protocol-relative links from file: to a web resource do not work. Or do I need to make a process that converts between protocol-relative links for the web version and hardcoded-protocol links for the file version when building the distribution? --Tepples (talk) 19:32, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, I never bothered to download the Wrecking Ball Boy distribution, which is why I didn't pay attention. I'm tempted to say yes to the latter question in the long term, but let's wait a little while to rethink whether the file: should be loading fonts from external servers at all. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 22:36, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
As an interim fix until we write the scripts needed to maintain two versions of the documentation, or if you think the fonts are subjectively that important, why not hardcode the offending stylesheet to be https? It has HTTPS Everywhere rule coverage, but is there any official Google documentation saying such hardcoding MUST NOT be done? --Eighty5cacao (talk) 04:08, 22 July 2014 (UTC) (proofread 05:13, 29 July 2014 (UTC))
