::Yes, although some people might be OK with the low-definition. With unable to control, you could set it ahead of time, or set up your own IR transmitter device to control it. (Another idea I have thought of is to use IMIDI; CC 0 and 32 control the TV channel and CC 64 controls OSD suppress.
