User talk:Eighty5cacao/misc/Mashup ideas for StepMania simfiles
Personally, I already claimed "1, 2, 3, 4, 007" for "The 1-2-3-4-007 Jump." When playing "Furuhata's Theme" I like to imagine/mishear the refrain as, "Open your mind; take a deep breath," which is actually from Family Farce's[dead link] TSUHSUIXAMUSH. Make of that what you will...
"Claimed" does not imply an intent to actually create such a mashup within any given time, nor does it imply that there is one "correct" mashup. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 06:21, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
Course suggestion for title puns
"Don't bother" isn't what I meant at all in this edit. I was just pointing out the alternative of courses for someone who can't figure out at the moment how to make a mash-up fit together. If I were doing "Jump", for example, I'd prototype it as a nonstop course first. --Tepples (talk) 21:53, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
- Acknowledged, and sorry for the slightly rude/defensive edit summary. I would have posted on the talk page first but gave up upon realizing that it would have violated BRD.
- To assume that I "can't figure out ... how to make a mash-up fit together" isn't accurate either. (To forestall any impression that I'm making the same mistake again: That was just hypothetical; I know you're not actually assuming such a thing.) The truth is just that I haven't bothered to state my thoughts in any detail. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 23:37, 22 July 2014 (UTC) (+ 23:42, 22 July 2014 (UTC))
Dam Dariram Oni
It has been claimed that the hidden Single Challenge chart for "Dam Dariram" in DDR Extreme (AC) was originally written for "Give It Up" by Captain Jack. Upon listening to the latter, I can understand how this makes sense rhythmically; the melodic resemblance isn't good enough for any of the STSA pages, but it could be worth trying to work this into a mashup. --Eighty5cacao (talk) 04:44, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
