What is the policy for discussing video-game music on this article? I see a couple of examples where one song in the comparison is from a video game (Hip Tanaka - Chill). What about alleged cryptomnesia between two video-game songs? Do we need to create a separate article for that? Eighty5cacao 10:13, 19 August 2010 (MST)

:Yeah, I heard a StarTropics bass line on level 1 of Zoop for Super NES too. I'm not sure exactly in which direction I want to take the page, but I don't want video game examples to overwhelm examples from the U.S. pop charts; I want it to be accessible to non-gamers. Perhaps a categorization scheme might become apparent later. --Tepples 16:44, 19 August 2010 (MST)

Video game music

What is the policy for discussing video-game music on this article? I see a couple of examples where one song in the comparison is from a video game (Hip Tanaka - Chill). What about alleged cryptomnesia between two video-game songs? Do we need to create a separate article for that? Eighty5cacao 10:13, 19 August 2010 (MST)

I may start an informal list in my userspace, but initially it will focus on examples that can be supported by online videos, and it will be a long time before it is comprehensive enough to be mainspaced. Eighty5cacao 22:45, 20 August 2010 (MST)
