This article is homo[edit]

Yes, I'm treating "sex" meaning software exchange and "sex" meaning division between male and female as homonyms. In Standard English of Earth, they're polysemes: "sex" meaning coitus is short for "sexual relations" between the sexes. So a higher vertebrate (reptiles up) can be said to have sex all the time: at no time is one not male or female. But in the game world, there are reports that the word for coitus in some languages derives from a root meaning "exchange". --Tepples 12:10, 6 October 2010 (MST)

Why I created this page[edit]

For the record, this page began as an exploration of the analogy between DNA and computer software behind Eric Raymond's fanciful etymology for "sex" from the point of view of a hypothetical alien biologist. It expanded with attempts to make the slang term "nads" and "cum" respectable terms through similar twisting of etymologies and through giving them the same clear and concise definitions that I give to more respected terms associated with sexual behavior. And of course, it supports articles about sexuality in the game world. --Tepples 07:47, 2 September 2012 (MST)
