Patent nonsense wording
Somehow, it took me a couple of seconds to remember that "patent nonsense" was not "nonsense about patents." Although I am a native English speaker, I can see how nonnative readers would even more likely be confused. Do you have ideas for an alternative wording? Eighty5cacao 12:10, 9 October 2011 (MST)
- Most top results for the phrase "patent nonsense" on Google appear to use a pun on the multiple meanings of "patent", as part of the title of an article about inventions: either useless inventions or corruption in the scheme of exclusive rights in these inventions. That's why I wrote "incoherent babble". --Tepples 13:33, 9 October 2011 (MST)
- Whoops, sorry for not remembering that an alternative wording was already there. I almost structured this section as a "just for fun" anecdote, but my mind stupidly insisted on turning it into a request for enhancement. Eighty5cacao 13:41, 9 October 2011 (MST)
- Representative of the articles one gets by searching for "patent nonsense", but which appears not to use the word "nonsense" itself, is a Cracked article covering seven patents on ridiculous inventions and three patents on inventions already in or obvious from the prior art. --Tepples 06:31, 11 January 2012 (MST)
"Project scope" redirect
Should there exist a redirect from Pin Eight:Project scope, by analogy with commons:Commons:Project scope? --Eighty5cacao (talk) 17:21, 31 December 2012 (CST)
