Future directions

Blocking unwanted web content is a game of cat and mouse: think of ways an attacker could animate things, think of ways to block the animation, think of ways to work around that block, etc. So here are some things I could consider adding to a future version of the suite:

• Playback using a <canvas> element
• Image sequence by loading all images, inserting them to the DOM, and positioning all but one out of view using CSS animation to change position
• Image sequence by changing background-image of an element
• Filmstrip by changing background-position using script instead of CSS animation
